Inspiration for: Let’s Come Together:
The inspiration to write “Let’s Come Together” came from just the state the world is in today especially now living in a digital age, we no longer take the time to connect with one another. We are so into our own world and bubble that we don’t find the time to reach out to the people around us. I truly believe that we all have a purpose to fulfill in this life and that purpose is not meant for us to impact our own lives but the lives of others just as someone else’s purpose in life is to impact and be of service in mine. I wanted to write a song that would help everyone to remember what’s important in life. Love , Fellowship, Giving, Sharing, Caring and Unity.

Inspiration for: Hear My Words
Leslie- The inspiration of this song came, because there is lots of misery throughout the world! I told my idea to Andy and he wrote perfectly about how we would like to live together on earthJ
Andy- Leslie Egerer composed the music and came up with an idea about a Children’s chorus and, with the white dove being the symbol for peace. I had the idea about birds spreading the message. Andy is a music teacher, and I knew that children would love to sing songs like this as they generally have no prejudice or hatred in their hearts. Andy Halliday

Inspiration for: When I Hear Music:
A choral piece inspired by and inspiring to children both young and old, When I Hear Music is a beautiful yet simple composition for two-part voices with a flowing melody and heartfelt words. Brian Katona’s lyrics and music were inspired by the 2015–2016 third grade class at Maurice Hawk Elementary School in West Windsor, New Jersey, where his children attended at the time, and the result is a touching tribute to the school and the children’s expression of the importance of music in their lives. Dr. Katona is an award winning composer, and conductor who has scored documentary films and television pilots, and has composed numerous instrumental, choral and musical theater pieces.” Brian Katona

Inspiration for “The Place”:
I was walking through the streets of New York one day whilst talking to a friend on the phone. She asked if I would stop by “Strawberry Fields” in Central Park to tell her what it is like since it was John Lennon’s birthday. I had never realized that Strawberry Fields was an actual place! After a little searching, I found this wonderful location where a young man was playing inspirational Beatles songs (Imagine, Let It Be, All You Need Is Love, Yesterday) on his guitar for a decent sized crowd. I instantly began to sing with him and soon, we were joined by people of all ages, sizes and nationalities. I ended up staying there for hours all while meeting and hugging and singing with people whom I had never met. Some didn’t even speak English but we managed to make a connection. It was one of the most heart touching moments of my life. I was so moved by the power of music that I swore that I would always write at least one song about “peace and love” for every album I produce. Many months later, I wrote “The Place” for my 2016 album project hoping that it would inspire people to consider the idea, that maybe “Love, Hope & Peace” are real things that should be a part of your everyday life. More people need to sing about peace and love. It brings people together and we need more of that these days.
